Hours of Operation and Holidays
- All courthouses in the Eighth Judicial Circuit are open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- On weekends and holidays, First Appearance, Shelter and Detention Hearings for all counties are conducted via videoconference from courtroom 1A of the Alachua County Criminal Justice Center commencing at 9:00 AM.
