Fla.R.Jud.Admin. 2.050(b)(8) requires the Chief Judge or the Chief Judge's
designee to regularly examine the status of every inmate of the county jail.

judges and for Alachua County the administrative judges of the county and
circuit criminal divisions are hereby appointed as designees for purposes
of reviewing the status of inmates of the jails within each respective judge's
county.
2. The Sheriffs of each county in the circuit shall furnish a copy of the
jail roster to the designated judges and to the Office of the Eighth Judicial
Circuit Court Administrator on the first business day of each month.
3. The designated judges shall review the jail roster to determine whether
any inmate's status needs review.
4. If a regional judge determines that an inmate's status should be reviewed,
the name of that inmate and the name of the facility where the inmate is
housed shall be reported to the Chief Judge for further action.
5. This Administrative Order amends Administrative Order No. 8.450(A) entered
on January 12, 1984.
ORDERED on October 1, 1998.
