ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 8.361

PARKING

 

 

The Alachua County Courthouse has 29 parking spaces in the basement parking lot which must be assigned and reassigned from time to time by the Chief Judge of the Eighth Judicial Circuit, it is therefore

ORDERED

1. All parking assignments will be made by the Chief Judge and a record of the current assignments will be kept on file with the Court Administrator's Office.

2. Two parking passes designated for a particular parking space shall be delivered to the individual or agency to which the space has been assigned. The individual or employees of the agency so assigned to that particular space shall be responsible for the use of said cards. Parking in a space not assigned to that parking pass card is prohibited.

3. These assignments and any exception to the above policy are subject to modification to meet the needs of the court. The undersigned, as chief judge, or the designated chief judge shall have exclusive jurisdiction of any requested changes.

4. No employee of the court who has a parking space assigned and approved by the chief judge, shall be denied entry to the courthouse parking lot at any time during the week or on weekends, regardless of street closing or any other public event. The only exception to this would be if a security risk is present at the courthouse sufficient to prohibit the entry of employees into the building.

This order rescinds Administrative Order No. 8.360(O).
