Criminal Traffic Costs
Whereas, Fla. R. Traf. Ct. 6.291(b) authorizes assessment of $5.00 additional court costs when a defendant charged with a criminal traffic offense elects to exercise the option of receiving a withheld adjudication under 318.14(10), Florida Statutes, and
Whereas, Fla. R. Traf. Ct. 6.291(b) also provides that these additional court costs must be authorized by administrative order of the chief judge of the circuit, it is therefore
ORDERED that, in addition to any other allowable costs, an additional court cost of $5.00 shall be assessed against each defendant charged with a criminal traffic offense who elects to exercise the option of receiving a withheld adjudication under 318.14(10), Florida Statutes, and shall be paid to Alachua County.
