ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 1.930 [New Order No. 4.930]

REQUIRING FINGERPRINT IMPRESSION ON ALL NOTICES

TO APPEAR AND CRIMINAL TRAFFIC CITATIONS

WHEREAS, the Court finding it necessary for the efficient administration of the Criminal Division of the Alachua County Courts that procedures be established for placing fingerprints on all Notices to Appear and Criminal Traffic Citations, including violations of Sec. 322.15, Fla. Stat.,

IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED THAT:

1. All law enforcement officers in Alachua County shall secure a fingerprint of any individual who has been issued a Notice to Appear or a Criminal Traffic Citation, including violations of Sec. 322.15, Fla. Stat.

2. The fingerprint impression shall be affixed to the front sheet of the Notice to Appear or the Criminal Traffic Citation to the left of the defendant's signature. A full impression of the right thumb is to be taken. If the right thumb is not available, the left thumb impression should be obtained and if neither are available, the right

index finger impression, then the left index finger impression and continuing in that order. Any deviation from the right thumb print is to be noted along side the fingerprint indicating which finger was used.

ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 1.880(A)

(Amending Administrative Order Dated December 18, 1989)

SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT HEARING OFFICER

WHEREAS, the Supreme Court of Florida has authorized the Chief Judge of the Circuit to enter such Administrative Orders as may be necessary to implement the provisions of Fla. R. Civ. P. 1.491, and

WHEREAS, in its Administrative Order dated October 4, 1989, the Supreme Court of Florida states that the Circuit Court must arrange funding for positions relating to the implementation of Fla. R. Civ. P. 1.491, and

WHEREAS, in its Administrative Order 1.880 the Circuit Court of the Eighth Judicial Circuit created a Support Enforcement Hearing Officer for the Eighth Judicial Circuit, and

WHEREAS, the Support Enforcement Hearing Officer was appointed for Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Gilchrist, Levy and Union Counties, and

WHEREAS, Sec. 34.171, Fla. Stat., Salaries and Expenses, requires in part for the counties to pay all reasonable costs of court personnel not paid by the state, and

WHEREAS, the Court through the Board of County Commissioners of Alachua County, has entered a continuation

contract with the State of Florida, Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services to fund a majority of the cost of the Support Enforcement Hearing Officer Program,

IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED THAT:

Each county of the Eighth Judicial Circuit, through their respective Board of County Commissioners, shall contribute their pro rata share of the local match for the Support Enforcement Hearing Officer Program per fiscal year based on the latest population estimate.

THE EIGHTH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT OF FLORIDA

ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 1.890

The State Attorney for the Eighth Judicial Circuit of Florida, Lennard B. Register, III, has advised the Court that pursuant to Section 944.065, Florida Statutes, the State will furnish a Victim Notification Data Sheet at the time of disposition in all criminal cases where there is an identifiable victim. The State Attorney has requested that these Victim Notification Data Sheets be initially filed under seal, until further Order of the Court. Said request is made to minimize the chance of any retribution or other harassment being directed to the victim in each case.

It is, therefore,

ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that any Victim Notification Data Sheet filed by the State in any criminal case shall be filed by the Clerk under seal, pending further Order of the Court .
