Court may approve public or private entities that provide supervision or rehabilitation to offenders placed on probation;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Alachua County Department of Court Services operated by the Board of County Commissioners of Alachua County is hereby approved and designated as the public entity to provide probation services including but not limited to the supervision of misdemeanant offenders and to promptly provide the Alachua County Court with presentencing investigation reports, as ordered by the Court.
In carrying out its duties and responsibilities as the Court approved entity provided misdemeanant probation services to the Alachua County Court, the Alachua County Department of Court Services will comply with Sec. 945.30, Fla. Stat., and the applicable portions of Chapter 948, Fla. Stat., and any additional specific requirements of the Alachua County Court.
